Meeting 6:30 a.m. Fridays at the Bee Hive Restaurant, Main and Pioneer | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The weekend of October 11-13 will be a very busy one for the club. We have the Spaghetti feed starting at 4:00 p.m. Friday and we have the Elma rest stop coverage all weekend. You can get the schedules at Spaghetti feed schedule or Elma rest stop schedule or call Roger at 249-3590. Please sell lots of Spaghetti feed tickets. We've got one week to go
We have been invited to serve a pasta dinner (we won't be doing the preparation) Tuesday November 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Beacon school. Mary Lewis would like 8 to 9 Kiwanians. So far we have 4-1/2. Ron B, Steve, Roger and Clarence and Barry for half the time. The cartridge collection project is moving along in fine fashion. Steve has put out three more collection containers and expects to make our first shipment soon. The Kiwanis fiscal year ended September 30 which ended Steve's term as president. It was a very good year. Our average attendance at meetings was higher than it's been for several years. We've added several new fund raising |

activities. For a small group, we are very active. Thanks for your leadership Steve and welcome to the past president's club. Clarence assumed president status today. Yea! Barry is our president of vice!!
Dues are due and will be paid to Kiwanis International by Oct. 10. Please help by paying your share. Entertainment books are selling well. Ray reports that we sold 41 last year and we have turned in money for 15 so far this year. The price is reduced $5 to $30. They make a great Christmas gift. I am sorry to say Mary Frances Hara moved and I didn't write down where she moved to. If you read this Mary Frances, let us know where you are. Thanks for being a part of us. |
